    • Identify and shift unhelpful beliefs, coping strategies, and behavioral patterns

    • Learn practical tools for emotional regulation, communication, and decision-making

    • Gain clarity around goals, values, and direction

    • Best for: general mental health support, personal growth, relationship concerns, and ongoing life challenges

    • Can be used on its own or combined with EMDR or neurotherapy for deeper or more targeted work

  • Resolve past experiences that continue to impact the present

    • Helps the brain reprocess traumatic or distressing memories so they feel less intense and reactive

    • Reduces symptoms of PTSD, anxiety, panic, phobias, and negative self-beliefs

    • Uses bilateral stimulation (eye movements or tactile pulses) to support natural processing

    • Targets root causes of emotional triggers rather than just managing symptoms

    • Best for: trauma, childhood experiences, persistent emotional triggers, and feeling “stuck” despite insight

    • Often integrated with counseling or neurotherapy to support preparation, processing, and integration

  • Improve brain regulation, focus, and overall mental performance

    • Uses qEEG brain mapping to assess brainwave patterns related to mood, attention, and stress

    • Supports the brain in shifting out of fight/flight or freeze states into more regulated functioning

    • Can improve anxiety, depression, focus, sleep, emotional regulation, and resilience

    • Works directly with the brain’s activity, rather than only through talk-based methods

    • Best for: chronic anxiety, attention difficulties, mood instability, burnout, and clients who feel “stuck” despite therapy

    • Can enhance counseling and EMDR by increasing the brain’s capacity for change and processing

    • Start with Counseling if you’re unsure where to begin or want general support and skill-building

    • Consider EMDR if past experiences or trauma feel unresolved or continue to affect you

    • Add Neurotherapy if you want to improve regulation, focus, or accelerate progress

Many clients benefit from a combined, integrative approach tailored to their goals and needs.

Good Faith Estimate: Under the federal No Surprises Act (HR 133, PL 116-260), healthcare providers need to give clients and patients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for healthcare items and services. If you are uninsured or self-pay for services:

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like tests, equipment, and hospital fees.

  • Make sure your healthcare provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one business day before your service or item. You can also ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

  • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or contact this practice at (720) 460-0999.

Medicaid/Medicare Notice: I do not provide mental health services for anyone enrolled in Medicaid or Medicare programs.

Neurotherapy Notice: Insurance is not accepted for neurotherapy services. I can provide a superbill after paying out of pocket for your neurotherapy session that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. You can contact your insurance and check your coverage with the following CPT codes: 90876, 95816, 95957.

Disclaimer: You are responsible to ensure your health insurance covers your services. Please verify your health insurance coverage when you arrange your first visit and prior to each subsequent one.

Why Not Use Insurance If I Have It?: Insurance companies only cover services they determine as “medically necessary.” In order to meet insurance requirements, a therapist must submit a diagnosis and prove that this diagnosis significantly impairs the way you function, even if you do not meet criteria for a psychiatric disorder listed in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM). This information will be listed on your permanent medical record.

Because of this, some individuals choose to not utilize their insurance benefits. It is ultimately up to you to discern whether or not to use your insurance benefits for therapy. I would be happy to discuss this in your initial consult call to help you make an informed decision regarding which option is best for you.
